We all fight battles in our everyday lives, experiencing beauty and craving peace. On the flip side, we’re constantly marginalizing battles fought around the globe by giving children toys of war. Explore the irony, or maybe not? Damian hopes you will seek to explore the juxtaposition of these issues through the lens of such an iconic and polarizing symbol.

Damian K. Wildfong is a Michigan-born artist, now a happy Seminole Heights transplant. Her background encompasses performance poetry, mid-century modern furniture, and exploring a wide spectrum of artistic mediums that convey her message. She has performed poetry all over the U.S. and was recently featured in the show Collab in St Petersburg, Florida.
